After retiring from mentor, Judith wished to continue to use her storytelling abilities to help children who are badly. Mark signed up with the NHS in his 30s after leaving his family's business with no formal credentials, but a drive to make a difference. ' I tried to turn off a bedside light and seemed like something wasn't right with me. I knew directly away it was a stroke.' In July 2023, after an active holiday kayaking and walking, Bob suddenly had a stroke. He was flown by air ambulance to University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, where he invested four weeks restoring. 'I used the health club often and did neurorehabilitation online (NROL)'. NROL is a group rehabilitation program for individuals who have actually had a stroke or have other neurological conditions. 'I had a structured timetable which gave me something to eagerly anticipate every week - socially, mentally and mentally.' Bob thanked NHS staff for 'the fantastic support' and the continuous physiotherapy he got. Well done Bob and great work team! Early acknowledgment of stroke signs can conserve lives. ' Working alongside nurses and seeing the distinction they made inspired me to believe, 'I could do that!" Meet Sharon, a sexual health nurse and non-medical prescriber who started her nursing journey in 1985 at the Royal Liverpool Teaching Hospital. In 2010 she joined Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust and continues to serve patients in Hertfordshire. 'I liked assisting people and discovering the body, so nursing simply felt right.' Sharon reflects. Sharon has actually operated in male infertility, menopause, miscarriage and colposcopy to call a couple of, revealing the vast array of locations in which nurses make a difference. 'Truly, I can't think about an area where nurses do not make an impact in some form,' Sharon confesses.
